Keep Calm...

...and have a cupcake. Technically, a mini cupcake.

These were made last October for the Harvest Festival at our church.

The cupcakes were chocolate with buttercream frosting.

Father's Day

This is one of the last frames I made (on order) for Father’s Day last year. The black damask pattern is velvet.

The design may look familiar… it’s from an Archies Memories photo album that I bought a while ago.

King of the Jungle

So, we celebrated my boss’ birthday at office last December… (Let’s just pretend that I didn’t have to look that up on his Facebook page). Here’s the cake I made for our King of the digital-marketing-and-social-media Jungle.  Actually Junglees would be more accurate… King of the Junglees.

This was my first attempt at butter-cream frosting a design other than Rose cakes. Be kind.

Wedding Dress Favour Boxes

A friend of ours got married a while ago and we got together and threw her a bridal shower. Here are the favour boxes I made. It’s supposed to be a wedding dress as the blog post title ever so subtly suggests. The little purple dots holding the ribbon in place are brads from Michaels

An army of brides?

For decorating, we used the pom-poms from my sister-in-law’s baby shower.

And update: the little fellow made his appearance last June and will turn one this year. Here he is walking around the house with his mommy making sure everything’s running on schedule.
